An absorbing film from Israel detailing the professional and personal rivalries between a father and son. Eliezer and Uriel Shkolnik are both scholars in the Talmudic Studies department of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The father has been working diligently for decades without being rewarded with any honours or awards. The son is an academic superstar who is acclaimed and honoured by all. This struggle forms the backbone of this film which won the Ophir Prize for Best Film in Israel this year and is Israel's nominee for Best Foreign Film at the Academy Awards.
